Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Rymate collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is MB Adpulz, company code 307034702, Lithuania — the operator of Rymate (rymate.com). For anything related to privacy, write tosupport@rymate.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Account email — to create and secure your account, log you in, and send service messages such as receipts or important notices.
- Uploaded assets — the video clips, audio and text quotes you upload, stored in the app's cloud storage so you can reuse them and render videos.
- Subscription and billing data — plan, status, renewal date and a payment reference from Stripe. We never store your full card details.
- Basic usage data — technical logs and product usage signals (for example counts of renders and uploads, error reports) used to keep the service reliable, prevent abuse and improve it.
Rendered videos stay with you. Rendering happens inside your own browser and the finished videos are kept in your browser — we do not upload or store them on our servers.
3. Legal bases for processing
- Performance of a contract — running your account, storing your assets, providing the tool, and handling payments and subscriptions.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure and stable, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the product using aggregated usage data.
- Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax records for payments.
- Consent — where we ask for it, for example optional marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers who act as processors on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosting, database and file storage for your account and uploaded assets.
- Resend — sending transactional email (welcome, billing and support-related messages).
Each provider processes data only on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Where your data is stored and international transfers
Data is stored on our providers' cloud infrastructure. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data and uploaded assets: for as long as your account is active.
- After account deletion: your assets and account data are removed, normally within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
- Billing and accounting records: kept for the period required by Lithuanian law.
- Technical logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- receive your data in a portable format;
- restrict processing in certain cases;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).
8. How to exercise your rights
Email support@rymate.com from the address linked to your account and tell us what you need — including account and data deletion. We respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.
9. Cookies and browser storage
Rymate uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in, remember your studio settings, and hold your rendered videos locally. We also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the product is used and where it breaks. We do not use advertising cookies.
10. Security
Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level access rules, so your assets are only reachable by your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
11. Children
Rymate is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. For any privacy question, contact support@rymate.com.
